At the Independent Commission for Human Rights (ICHR) – The Ombudsman’s Office, we work to receive and follow up on complaints related to human rights violations to ensure justice. We conduct monitoring of places of deprivation of liberty to verify compliance with legal and human rights standards. Additionally, we engage in legislative oversight and provide legal advice to ensure alignment with human rights principles. We also monitor the human rights situation and produce reports reflecting the state of rights and freedoms. Furthermore, we implement awareness, training, and advocacy programs to promote a culture of human rights in society.
